PGA is organizing the Pakistan’s third Games Emerge Conference 2018 (GEC) for video game developers and creative artist of Pakistan, which will be held in Islamabad from 17th November 2018 to 18th November 2018. GEC 2018 will build on the foundation laid by GEC 2016 and 2017 in the creation and promotion of a vibrant community of game developers in Pakistan. We hope to make this year’s GEC bigger and better by increasing the number of participants in the event, involving more international speakers, which will appeal not only to game developers, publishers and investors of Pakistan but also video game enthusiasts across the country. This will be the first time that GEC 2018 hosts a game showcase, where local indie developers will be able to showcase their game to professional mentors, potential investors and/or publishers. Such a platform can help boost the developer’s finances and network, and help them achieve their goals for bringing their product to the market. The best entries to the showcase will be selected and given awards based on their engagement, impressiveness, social impact and other criteria..
